How it is scoredBrier, in plain words
The score
Each number costs you the square of how far it was from what happened. Saying 90% and being right costs 0.01. Saying 90% and being wrong costs 0.81. Your round score is the mean of the two cameras.
Doing nothing
Answering a flat 50% to everything scores 0.25 for ever. That is the line you have to beat, and it is the line the pot is shared against.
Being ranked
At least 50 of the week's 168 rounds. Below that you are listed but not paid.
The pot
30% of every fee forwarded to the keeper. The best fifth of the ranked wallets split it in proportion to 0.25 minus their mean Brier. Fewer than five ranked wallets and the whole pot rolls into next week.
